On 14 - 16 May, 2013 in Moscow, Crocus Expo, the 17th International Exhibition and Conference “MiningWorld Russia. Mining and Processing of Metal and Minerals “ is going to be held to demonstrate the high technologies for mining and processing plants, underground construction, as well as the advanced mining methods and security tools.
Project MiningWorld Russia is rightfully considered as one of the key events of the mining industry, and held annually with the official support of the following state bodies and industry associations:

The Exhibition will present the off-the-shelf mining developments of the Russian and foreign manufacturers: crushing and screening equipment, drilling and excavating machinery, solutions for transportation and storage of bulk materials, spares and components for mining machines, mine loaders, mineral processing equipment and components, machinery for tunnel building, everything for safety mining works.
The following companies have already confirmed their participation in MiningWorld Russia: Somex, NG-Energo, Metso Minerals, Strommashina, NPO Erga, Wirtgen-International-Service, Atlas Kopko, Sandvik Mining and Construction CIS, Gidromashservis, Autokompozit, SZLK, Kompozit, FLSmidt etc. Besides the scaled exhibition, in the pavilions the visitors can see the vast outdoor exposition of large-size engineering and machinery to provide mining operations.
The central event of the business programme - conferences "Gold and technologies-2013" and "Machines and equipment for open-pit mining". Annually within the conference, the current issues of development and improvement of the industry, industrial safety are touched, as well as the off-the-shelf progressive technological developments are demonstrated. The conference gathers a great many of participants including the leaders of large plants of the mining complex, representatives of research institutes and profile high schools, the state industry controllers and professional mass-medias.

As compared to 2011, the amount of visitors has increased by 30 %, and 93 % of the visitors consider MiningWorld Russia as the major exhibition in the mining industry.
